Salon Series
Palm Beach, FL
On January 18th we welcome our new Patron, the 9th Marquess Townshend, who will provide an informative lecture on his family's 17th century home, Raynham Hall. The foundations of Raynham Hall were laid in 1621 and 100 years later, the interior and exterior experienced renovations and changes at the hand of William Kent, further establishing it as a neoclassical masterpiece and one of the most important noble seats in Norfolk. Attendees will learn about the fascinating legacy of this house, which happens to be the birthplace of Lord Townshend, Chancellor of the Exchequer, whose "Townshend Acts" prompted the American War of Independence. Seats for our Salon Series are extremely limited. Kindly contact us at (561) 317-4358 to check on availability and ticket options.
